What a Man

There is no way I could be a full-time working mom without my most excellent husband, Anthony. He’s a true feminist in every sense of the word. He lives with two dramatic and lively daughters (I don’t know where they got that! *wink*) and an equally hyperbolic wife, two cats, a codependent dog–and he manages all this with a smile on his face as he pushes the steam cleaner over kitty diarrhea over and over again. (Yeah, you read that right.)

Yesterday afternoon, he could sense from some frantic texts that I was feeling overwhelmed. Oh baby. So he volunteered to come home early from his job in Indianapolis (yep, he drives there every day!) to pick up the girls and make dinner. He said, “You do what you need to do. I’ll have dinner waiting.” My  heart swells. Is there anything sexier than a man who cooks and cleans and senses frantic-ness from his wife?

In the midsts of our hectic life he’s also training for the Indianapolis Mini Marathon. Anthony Schrock, you’re the meaning in my life, you’re the inspiration!
